The agetech sector has been chronically overlooked by many, even though this sector in particular is a big, growing, and important section of the market. It’s time to do better and create products specifically designed for this fantastic demographic. With our team, we have started a movement to go from ‘boredom and dissatisfaction’ to an ‘inspiring and joyful’ retirement.
What role are we looking for?
We are looking for a community manager (werkstudent) who will assist Pauline (our founder) in managing and activating our enthusiastic community.
In this role, you will form the first point of contact of Proudies as an organisation. Additionally, you will be actively involved in setting up a community management plan to engage with our different communities. At the same time, you will play a vital role in extracting feedback from our users through chatting and calling.
What your day might look like
Every morning, we will start with a short kick-off at 0900 at our offices the Edge Olympic in Amsterdam zuid.
Every day will be different and might include: calling with users, chatting with customers or partners, working together with the marketing team to design email campaigns, setting up (offline) events for the community, engaging with people on the platform and other tasks that might appear during the day!

Your profile
Speaking Dutch is a must, as you will become the first point of contact for our members. Besides that, ss we are with a small team, you should be comfortable in a fast-paced environment and open to picking up tasks as they arise.
Besides that, we prefer that you have a background in communication studies, medicine, psychology, marketing, or cultural studies. Other skills like speaking Dutch and English, effective and efficient communication skills, and attention to detail matter to us. You should really enjoy helping and assisting people, which might take quite some patience from time to time.
